Our Story
ABOUT US
Founded in 2025, African Catholic Press (AfriCaP) is the publishing outfit of Pan-African Catholic Theology and Pastoral Network (PACTPAN). AfriCaP offers a wide range of books on African theology and spirituality.
AfriCaP is committed to planting the seeds of faith by telling the stories of Catholicism on the African continent and amplifying the voices from the peripheries through the production of academic, theological, religious, devotional, social-critical, and pedagogical literature for children, youth, and adult pastoral in Africa. The books published reflect the views of the authors and do not represent the official position of the African Catholic Press.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to reignite the flames of scholarship and religious pedagogy as we tell the stories of faith in Africa, always pointing at the horizon of hope, pastoral charity, and a rediscovery of fraternity in Jesus Christ.
And to do all these through the promotion of in-depth research and reflections on the Word of God and the human conditions.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to become a leading voice in shaping a renewed Christian intellectual tradition in Africa; one rooted in Scripture, alive in African realities, and committed to inspiring hope, unity, and pastoral compassion through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
