Prof. Maurice Agbaw-Ebai (Ph.D. S.T.D. Ed.D.), is a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mamfe, Cameroon. His research interests include Dogmatic Theology; the Theological Opus of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI; Philosophy of Religion; Ancient Philosophy; German Idealism; African Literature/Christianity in Africa; and Secularism, Religion and Politics. He has taught courses in Philosophy and Theology at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA, USA; Merrimack College, North Andover MA, USA; Catholic University of Cameroon, Bamenda, Cameroon; St. John’s Seminary, Brighton MA, USA; Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary, Weston MA, USA, and John Paul II Institute of Theology, JOPASIT, Buea, Cameroon; and at the Catholic Institute of Technology, Castel Gandolfo, Rome, Italy.
Some of his publications include Light of Reason, Light of Faith: Joseph Ratzinger and the German Enlightenment; Joseph Ratzinger and the Future of African Theology (editor with Prof. Mathew Levering); The Essential Supernatural: A Dialogical Study Between Kierkegaard and Blondel; and An African Perspective on the Thought of Benedict XVI (editor with Kizito Forbi, S.J).
